Cancer Immunotherapy: Rikki Rockett’s Story

The band Poison’s co-founder and drummer, Rikki Rockett, was diagnosed with oral cancer more than a year ago. When chemotherapy and radiation treatment failed to eradicate his cancer, Rockett came to Moores Cancer Center at UC San Diego Health to participate in a clinical trial testing experimental cancer immunotherapy. A few months later, he received the best news of his life: his cancer is gone. In this video, he tells his story at a UC San Diego Health education event on Aug. 20, 2016.
